Juan Luis Toboso
Juan Luis Toboso is a researcher, curator and professor. He resides between Valencia, Spain and Porto, Portugal. Is PhD in Fine Arts from the Universitat Politécnica de València and is currently deputy-director and assistant professor at ESAP in Porto and a member of the Art and Critical Studies Research Group of Centro de Estudos Arnaldo Araújo. Its main focus in reserach is the creation of new contemporary processes of creation, as well as the investigation of new territories in the production, criticism and diffusion of the plastic arts. He has developed curatorial projects in the context of contemporary visual arts and knowledgel independently and in collaboration with several international and art centers such as the IVAM – Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderno, Culturgest do Porto, CCCC- Centro de Cultura Contemporánea del Carmen, Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Serralves, Azkuna Zentroa in Bilbao and the Calouste Gulbekian Foundation, among others. http://kultureland.com/
