Daniela Angelucci
Daniela Angelucci (born in Rome, 1973) is associate professor of Aesthetics at University Roma Tre. Her early work is on phenomenological aesthetics and philosophy of literature. Her main interests are aesthetics, philosophy of art (particularly philosophy of film and literature), contemporary philosophy, environmental humanities, psychoanalysis.
She earned her PhD at University of Palermo in 2002. From 2003 until 2005 she obtained a grant for Research about Deleuze, at Department of philosophy, University Roma Tre. From 2006 until 2010 she taught Aesthetics of Cinema at University of Calabria. From 2006 until 2014 she was Senior lecturer in Aesthetics at Department of philosophy, University Roma Tre.
She is co-director of the Post-graduate course Studi del territorio/ Environmental Humanities at University Roma Tre (Department of Philosophy and Department of Architecture). From 2014 to 2017 she has been a member of the Presidency Board of SIE (Società Italiana di Estetica). She is Advisor for Aesthetics, Philosophy and Cinema for Istituto della Enciclopedia Italiana (Treccani).
She is co-director of the series Sguardi fuori campo (Mimesis edizioni); member of the scientific board of the series Estetica e critica (Quodlibet); member of Scientific Committee of the journal La Deleuziana; managing editor of the review Lebenswelt. Aesthetics and philosophy of experience, and Colloquia philosophica (University Roma Tre Press); and staff member of Fata Morgana. Quadrimestrale di cinema e visioni.
In 2016 she organized in Rome the 9th Deleuze Studies International Conference (11-13 July) and Deleuze Studies Camp (4-8 July).
